The Executive Chairman Federal Character Commission has described the death of the father of the Kwara State Governor and patriarch of the AbdulRazaq, SAN (OFR) Mutawalli Of Ilorin, The Tafida of Zazzau, Chairman Body of Benchers and first Lawyer in Northern as a great loss.
In a statement issued in Abuja and personally signed by the Executive Chairman, she stated
“I commiserate with my dear brother, his excellency the Governor and his siblings over the passage of our revered father. Although we are saddened by his death, we are consoled that the sage lived an impactful life spanning over nine decades of glory and immense accomplishments.”
She further stated
“the death of Alhaji AGF AbdulRasaq SAN has completely robbed Kwara State of the last of its founding fathers.”
While also expressing her condolences to the Emirs of Ilorin and Zaria, she prays that Allah grant the deceased His mercy and give the family and the rest of us the fortitude to bear this great loss.
